quasar energy group (“QEG”) is a Cleveland, Ohio-based renewable energy and waste management leader specializing in anaerobic digestion technology. Founded in 2006, QEG has built an entire U.S. industry for organics recycling – shifting from reliance on imported European digester parts to sourcing most of its components domestically.

The company designs, builds, owns, and operates facilities that convert organic waste streams into renewable energy (biogas/renewable natural gas) and a valuable organic fertilizer byproduct. This process diverts materials that would otherwise be landfilled or incinerated, aligning with QEG’s sustainability mission.

QEG’s anaerobic digesters currently handle over 1.7 million tons of organic residuals annually, and the firm has expanded to more than 20 operating digesters across multiple states.
